Mother’s Public School, Bhubaneswar celebrates Makar Sankranti

Bhubaneswar, Jan 15: Mother’s Public School celebrated Makar Sankarti at its premises here on Thursday. Many students participated in many events organized including a workshop on kite making and flying.

Kites even today retain a fascination for both young and old ability to build kite is a skill that is prized by many. Mother’s Public School made an endeavour to incorporate this skill into its curriculum, providing an opportunity to the primary students of the school by organized a workshop on kite making and kite flying.

There was a great amount of enthusiasm and interest displayed by the students during the activity. On 14th January when their finished product took to the sky, the boost in confidence for the children was phenomenal. The thrill of watching the kite that they made fly provided them with a positive re-enforcement and motivation.
