NCB organises Awareness Programme at BPIA-Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, Dec 2: Narcotics Control Bureau has organised a sensitization/awareness programme on Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances to create awareness among the staffs of AAI/CISF/Airlines and other agencies working at airport to identify the drug trafficking sources travelling through airport, air cargo etc.

The programme was conducted at B.P.I. Airport, Bhubaneswar. The team was headed by Sh. Dilip Ravidas, Superintendent, Narcotics Control Bureau, Bhubaneswar along with his Intelligence Officers. During the session the focus was given how to identify the source of trafficking the behavioural aspects of drug traffickers, Modus operandi etc.

The programme was attended by the security and ground handling agencies of the airlines along with AAI and CISF staffs. Certificate of participation was also issued to all the participants at the end of the programme. This initiative has been taken by Airports Authority of India to make the Airport updated with the knowledge to prevent Drugs, Narcotics and other illegal trafficking.
