O.P.Jindal School celebrates 166th Birth Anniversary of Madhusudan DasThe 166th Birth Anniversary of Utkal Gourav Madhusudan Das has been celebrated at O.P. Jindal School, Angul with great pump and show. School Principal Mr. Chhanda Charan Das, inaugurated the programme by offering floral tribute to the great soul, followed by Group Song and inspiring speeches and tiny tots dedicated to Madhu Sudan Das, great patriot and architect of Odisha. On this occasion, students, teachers and all the staff members of the school offered their heart-felt tribute to the heavenly soul who had dedicated his whole life to claim provincial status to Odisha. Odisha is the first State in British India carved out of Bengal and Bihar based on the  based on  language consideration.

Paying his rich tribute to Sri Madhu Sudan Das, Executive Director and Location Head of Angul Mr. Dinesh Kumar Saraogi, said that “the Gen next will be always be proud of the contributions of Madhu Babu for all times to come.

All present on the occasion fondly remembered his tireless struggle and invaluable contribution on the way to establish self-esteem of Odisha as well as people of Odisha. Mr. Chhanda Charana Das, the Principal of the school along with other staff members Mr. R.K. Tripathy, Mr. Sirish Ku. Mishra and  Dr. M.S.Meher highlighted in their inspiring speech great sacrifice made by Madhubabu for the freedom struggle of India and for the  formation of Utkal Pradesh drawing out his patriotism and love for Odia literature. A standing ovation to the great architect of Odisha was also paid by Mr. Sirish Kumar Mishra, H.O.D. Odia department and other staff members of the school. Madhubabu is the first Barrister of Odisha and the first Industrialist of Odisha who established Utkal Tannery . His patriotic poems are ever inspiring.
