Pallishri Mela Book Fair adores Dwiti Sahu’s Novel “Kuhukara Mahaka” for adolescents

Book-FairRayagada, Dec 30: Kuhukara Mahaka, an Odia novel for adolescents school going students was inaugurated on the eve of 4th day of Pallishri Mela and the Book Fair at GCD Ground, Rayagada. The author of the book, Sri Dwiti Chandra Sahu, who is a regular columnist in daily news paper Dharitri, is presently working as a teacher in Bhakuraguda High School under the aegis of ST-SC Development of Govt of Odisha.

Dwiti has written several short stories, poems, features, research based articles on tribals, child literature, etc. His book on SAURA tribe has been appreciated by various quarters. Adekha Bhabisya, an anthology of short stories has been liked by scores of readers. Another book named Apahruta Sanglapa is also very popular among readers. Kuhukara Mahaka has been published by Pratiphalana Prakashani, which is a local publishing house from Rayagada.

Veteran Sarvodaya Leader Dr.Ratan Das, Jamnalal Bajaj Awardee Smt Shanti Devi, Historian and Archivist Sri Sriranga Nayak, Sub-Collector Sri Muralidhar Swain, ADM Sri Laxmikanta Behera, Collector Sri Jagannath Mohanty were present during the inauguration ceremony. “From a nondescript place like Padmapur, a budding laureate like Dwiti has a bright future in the contemporary literary world”, said Sri Satya Narayan Gantayat, another very famous and creative writer of Rayagada.

While Poet, Editor of literary magazine “Panchabati” and Odisha Sahitya Academy Member Sri Sushanta Nayak coordinated, famous Actor-Director Sri Narendra Mishra and Ms Baby Rani Nanda moderated the event.
