SAI International School organises Confluence 2014

India gives diversity a new meaning. It is geographical expression of thirty-two separate nations that happen to be arrayed along the line of a country called India. Taking the audience on a mesmerizing and lyrical journey of discovering the land withholding 15 major languages, hundreds of dialects, several major religions, and thousands of tribes, castes, and sub castes, students of SAI International School presented a musical saga “Bharat ek khoj” on the 4th Confluence of the School on December 20, 2014.

A festive unison of music and rhythm and a stunning blend of dance and harmony, “Bharat ek khoj” proved to be an appealing sojourn caressing the soul of each traveler to revel in the beauty of their motherland. Singing the virtues of Hindustan to invoking the blessing of Shakti, the show was a spectacular display of talent, precision and practice. A fifteen minute rendition by “Symphony” the choir group of SAI International School earned the loudest applause as it enthralled the audience with prefect tunes and melodious voices.

From the colourful Rajasthan and Gujarat to lush green valleys of Assam, from the snow clad peaks of Kashmir to the stories of Lord Rama in Andhra Pradesh, from the land of mighty souls in Punjab to the culture rich Odisha, SAIONEERS offered a cascade of the beautiful India.

Recreating the magic of the biggest festival of West Bengal; Durga Pooja, students depicted the nine forms of Shakti as they narrated the victory of good over evil. The entire show was choreographed by the famous Prince Group.

The stage was beautifully lit with over 1100 light with whopping background of the World’s largest play school, SAI Angan, an initiative of SAI International School. The audience applauded the breathtaking stage that added a wonderful dimension to all the performances.

The Chief Guest for the occasion was Shri Pradeep Panigrahi, Minister Higher Education, Govt of Odisha. While addressing the gathering at the grand evening, he congratulated the school for putting up the magnificent show. He also spoke about the importance of school education and extended his support to the school for all its future endeavors.

Confluence at SAI International is also an opportunity to felicitate the achievers and Vishal Aditya Sahoo and Avantika Dhakre who were the Commerce and Science toppers of Class XII of 2014 were honored for the exceptional results. The twin duo of Vishal Aditya Sahoo and Vikram Aditya Sahoo were also conferred upon the Emerging Global Saioneers trophy for their achievements in academics and other activities.

Through these Cultural extravaganzas, we at SAI International School not only help in projecting the talents of our students in various fields but also teach them the virtues of patience, sharing and caring and most importantly the value of consistent hard work which is prerequisite for excellence.
