SMRC organizes ‘Art Workshop’ in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, Nov 28: Shanta Memorial Rehabilitation Centre (SMRC) in collaboration with Utkal University of Culture organized an art workshop at Jaydev Bhawan here on Friday.

The workshop with theme ‘Stop violence against Women with Disabilities’ was inaugurated by Members of Odisha Women with Disability Network, Dr. Minati Behera, Director, Disability and Priyadarshi Mishra, Hon’ble MLA, Bhubaneswar.

Around 40 students of painting department of the university participated in painting competition.  The guests distributed prizes to the winners of the competition – Ashutosh, Sagarika, Debebrata, Monali, Satyajit.

SMRC has been working in the field of disability since its inception in 1985, was founded by Ashok Hans, a renowned activist.
