Swabhiman organizes Leadership Training for Disabled Students

SwabhimanBhubaneswar, Sep 21: Four-day long state level youth leadership training and empowerment program (YLTEP) was inaugurated at CYSD on Saturday by Sri Samarpanananda Maharaj ji, Sri Jagadananda former Information commissioner of Odisha, Dr. Sruti Mohapatra Chief executive Swabhiman and Sri Kartik Chandra Pandab Secretary Sradha Rourkela. More than 65 participants have participated in this program.

Swadhin Kumar Khatua told to Odisha News Insight (ONI) that “Disabled students have come different parts of the state to participate this training session. They have right to do everything.”It is an initiative to enlighten encourager and empower youth by providing leadership training that will promote and enhance the quality of life for themselves, their communities and our world.

The program included leadership training, soft skills development, basic computer literacy, group activities, workshops and a platform for youth to discuss issues, share experiences. Through Pranayam and Meditation they were thought the method of concentrating and develop their inner peace. Its mission is to create platform for young people to develop leadership qualities and actively contribute towards making positive social impact.The training programme will be concluded on Tuesday (22 Sep).
