Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan marks Global Odia Conclave

With an objective of reinforcing a clean and green world, the ‘Aseema Odisha’ a conglomerate of national and international Odia associations, organized ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan ‘this morning. The campaign was launched at Patia – KIIT road to mark the Global Odia Conclave 2014 convened under the auspices of ‘Odisha without Borders’ championing the cause of Odias residing and working around the world.

Launching this noble initiative, the Minister for Housing and Urban Development, Shri Pushpendra Singhdeo lauded the efforts of ‘Aseema Odisha’ for pioneering a greater cause that will be the harbinger for a progressive Odisha. Globally reckoned consultant on oil and natural gas exploration Padmashri Rabi Narayan Bastia appreciated the initiative and said when the entire world is moving towards cleanliness, it’s encouraging that off late we have risen from the slumber and taken a forward and positive move in this regard. Founder of KIIT Dr Achyuta Samant harped on the strength of this campaign in enabling the youth to be benefited by a congenial and creative environment.

The MLA of Bhubaneswar (North) Mr Priyadarshi Mishra, Chief Mentor of Aseema Odisha Mr Nihar Ranjan Samantara, Chief Coordinator of Aseema Odisha and Convener of the Global Odia Conclave Shri Kshirod Kumar Jena, President Shri Surya Prakash Mohapatra, General Secretary Shri Bibhu Ranjan Mishra, Vice President – Odisha Mr Dillip Satapathy, Vice President (North) Mr Kishore Dwibedi, Vice President (South) Mr JK Nayak, Secretary of Coordinator of the Conclave Dr Debadutta Singh Deo and Secretariat Director Mr Pranab Kishore Pani joined the campaign along with a host of other dignitaries, family members, students and public in large number.
