Biswa Mohan Jena – Man, who considers Social Service as Passion

Biswa-Mohan-JenaTeaching is his profession, but doing social service is his passion. He teaches at a premier educational institution in Odisha, yet he is engaged in numerous social activities ranging from organizing blood donation camp to arranging first aid services for the marginalized people of various places in the state.

Mr. Biswa Mohan Jena, a Guest Lecturer at Ravenshaw Autonomous University, Cuttack has been working for good cause of the society since his student days.

A commerce Ph.D Scholar, Biswa Mohan was born in Cuttack in 1985. After completing his graduation, he joined Indian Red Cross Association, IRCA, as a lifetime member. And, he has been participating almost all of IRCA’s social service activities including blood donation camp and free aid camp at  numerous occasion such as Cuttack Bali Yatra, Puri Rath Yatra to name a few. He is also associated with other social organizations like Aama Odisha, Blood Donors Council, St john Ambulance etc.

Biswa Mohan has received First Aid Trainer Certificate from the President of India. While talking to ONI regarding his future endeavour, he said, “I would put my best efforts to bring the marginalized people into mainstream society by providing them quality education and health services”.
