3 more Cities to be linked under UDAN scheme in Odisha

ONI Bureau: Three more cities including Baripada, Padmapur of Bargarh district and Therubali of Rayagada district have been included under the UDAN (Ude Desh Ka Aam Naagrik) scheme in the second phase.

UDAN scheme, a first of its kind in the Country, under which fares will be capped at Rs 2,500 per person for a one-hour flight.

The Union Government has included Bhubaneswar, Jeypore, Jharsuguda, Rourkela and Utkela (Kalahandi district) in the first phase of the scheme.
