Centre releases Rs 167 cr for Border development

ONI Bureau:  The Ministry of Home Affairs has released Rs 167 crore for  border development for nine states, an official said today.

Under the Border Area Development Programme (BADP), the centrally funded  amount was released to Meghalaya, Punjab, Rajasthan, Bihar, Sikkim, Tripura, Assam, Himachal Pradesh and West Bengal to cover all villages that are within 0-10 km of the International Border.
