Govt sanctions Central Assistance of Rs. 14,89,53,000 to Odisha

Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has sanctioned Rs. 14,89,53,000 to Government of Odisha as first instalment of Central assistance for the year 2016-17 under the “Scheme of Special Central Assistance to Scheduled Castes Sub Plan (SCA to SCSP)” during F.Y. 2016-17.

Under the scheme of SCA to SCSP for the year 2016-17 based on BE of Rs. 80000.00 Lakhs and approved by the Union Minister for SJ&E. So far, RS.35952.91 Lakh has been released to 18 States (Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Harayana, Himachal Pradesh, J&K, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, MP, Maharashtra, Manipur, Punjab, Sikkim, Tamilnadu, Telangana, Tripura, Uttarpradesh and West-Bengal) based on criteria evolved.
