Marry a Dalit & get Rs 2.5 lakh Reward

ONI Bureau: The Modi Govt has revised an old scheme by removing the income ceiling so that anyone who marries a Dalit, would get a cash incentive of Rs 2.5 lakh.

‘The Dr Ambedkar scheme for social Integration through inter-caste marriage’, which was launched in 2013, was limited to couple whose total earning was less than Rs 5 lakh per annum.

However, with the removal of ceiling, everyone would be eligible to get the benefits under the scheme whether Rich or Poor.
