Ministry of AYUSH launches Mission Madhumeha through Ayurveda

The Union Ministry of AYUSH has observed October 28 as National Ayurveda Day. This year’s theme is ‘Ayurveda for the prevention and control of diabetes’.

The MoS for Development of North Eastern Region, Prime Minister’s Office, Dr. Jitendra Singh today inaugurated a seminar on Prevention & Control of Diabetes through Ayurveda in New Delhi..

The Minister also launched ‘Mission Madhumeha through Ayurveda’ which will be implemented throughout the country.

The Minister of State for AYUSH, Shripad Yesso Naik, the Secretary of AYUSH, Ajit M. Sharan and other dignitaries are also present in the occasion.
