Modi Govt spent Rs 3,755 Cr on Ads & Publicity since June 2014

ONI Bureau: The RTI reply given by the Information and Broadcasting Ministry, shows that Narendra Modi Government has spent Rs 3,735 Crore on Ads and publicity since June 2014.

The Modi Government came to power in May 2014. Since June 2014 till October 2017, it has spent Rs Rs 1,656 Cr on Electronic Media, Rs 1,698 Cr on Print Media and Rs 399 Cr on outdoor advertisements.

The RTI application was filed by Greater Noida-based social activist Ramveer Tanwar. The reply also revealed that Centre spent over Rs 1,100 crore between June 1, 2014 and August 31, 2016, on advertisements featuring PM Narendra Modi.
