Odisha CM dedicates 1,100 new Check Dams to Public

On the 80th year of formation of Odisha and Biju birth centenary celebration, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday dedicated 1,100 check dams at the State Secretariat.

The Chief Minister inaugurated the dams for the farmers via video conferencing in a state level function held at the State conference room.

Official sources said, the check dams are constructed by the Water Resources department of Odisha.

School and Mass Education Minister Debi Prasad Mishra and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
