Odisha Govt clears 5 Investment Proposals worth Rs 381 Cr

Aditya Prasad PadhiInsight Bureau:  The State Government on Thursday approved five investment proposals worth Rs 381 crore from five firms which will create 844 direct employment opportunities.

During the 75th meeting of State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi, the government has given nod to Indian Oil Corporation Limited’s proposal for setting up LPG bottling plant at Khurda with an investment of 161.59 crore.

Other proposals like Vedanta’s proposal for the expansion of its Lanjigarh alumina refinery from 1 million tonnes per annum to 6 million tonnes per annum, JSK Industries Private Limited’s proposal to set up 1, 07,000 tonnes per annum aluminium wire rod and aluminium conductor unit at Angul aluminium park, Shree Malani Foams Private Limited’s proposal to set up a unit to manufacture 4,500 tonnes per annum of polyurethane foam and foam products at Khurda and Runaya, a metals start-up founded by the sons of Vedanta Ltd’s Executive Vice Chairman got the clearance to set up 30,000 tonnes per annum Aluminium dross refining unit at Jharsuguda were also given clearance.
