Odisha Govt to provide Caste Certificates to Students

Insight Bureau: The State Government on Tuesday decided to provide permanent caste certificates to SC, ST and Socially and Educationally Backward Class (SEBC) students, once they reach standard 5.

All Caste Certificates, issued to the students from Class V to XII shall be permanent in nature and shall be valid for the lifetime of the holder.

It is expected that by this proactive step of the State Government,  around 19 lakh students studying in class 5 will be benefited.
