Pandian eats lunch at a shelter home in Keonjhar after “Mo Sarkar” survey

V K Pandian, Secretary to Chief Minister after visiting district headquarters hospitals to review healthcare facilities and infrastructure under the ‘Mo Sarkar’ initiative, decided to have lunch with the children of Manoj Manjari Sishu Bhawan, as a last-minute change of program.

“The Secretary had rice, daal, paneer curry and chutney with the children. He inquired about their well being and asked them about their ambition in life,” said Keonjhar Collector Ashish Takre. Assisted by the government, Manoj Manjari Sishu Bhawan is home to orphans and children of single-parent children and those abandoned. There are 50 boys and 49 girls in the shelter, including 13 babies.

This is seen unlike Pandian as the once discreet secretary to CM has been seen at several places actively owning up to his numerous field work.
