The Ministry of Health and Family welfare confirmed Coronavirus cases in India has soared to 11,439.
1076 new COVID-19 infections were reported in the past 24 hours.
The death casualties in India due to Coronavirus has moved up to 377.
As per the state reports, Maharashtra is the most severely attacked state with 2,687 coronavirus cases. Tamil Nadu (1,204), Telangana (624), Rajasthan (969), Madhya Pradesh (730) and Gujarat (650) are among the other most Coronavirus affected states.
The government of India has stated that over 600 hospitals in the country have been designated as dedicated coronavirus facilities.
All the Indian hospitals have a capacity of over 1 lakh isolation beds and 12,024 intensive care unit (ICU) beds.
So far in India, 2.31 lakh COVID-19 tests have been conducted. 18,644 tests, out of these, were done in labs under ICMR’s network while 2,991 tests were held at private labs.
