All 32 Acquitted in Babri Masjid Demolition Case

All the 32 accused including BJP veterans LK Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi were acquitted by a CBI judge in the Babri Demolition case. The verdict was delivered today.

Reading out the 2000-order Special CBI judge Surender Kumar Yadav said that the evidences were not enough to prove the accused guilty.

The Court observed that the incident was not pre-planned and that the structure was brought down by ‘anti-social’ elements.

Out of the 49 who were accused, 17 have died during the course of the trial.
