Gandhi Jayanti: Leaders Pay Respect to Father of the Nation

Tributes poured in for Mahatma Gandhi on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, as leaders remembered the Father of the Nation.

President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Raj Ghat to pay their respect to the Mahatma on Gandhi Jayanti.

The 100-day ‘Har Ghar Jal Jeevan Mission’ was also launched to provide potable piped water supply in schools and anganwadi centres.

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik also paid tribute through a tweet.
