Who Developed Aarogya Setu App?

The Aarogya Setu app, which contact traces coronavirus cases in India, has no clear mention about its developer.

The National Informatics Centre (NIC), which designs the government websites has stated it has no information about the designer.

The Central Information Commission has, meanwhile, issued notice to the government for its ‘evasive’ answers.

A complaint was earlier filed by Saurav Das, who said that the NIC was unable to furnish the details.

The Government in its defense, has said that the Aarogya Setu App was developed in the most ‘transparent manner.’
