3 Jawans martyred, 5 injured in Terrorist Attack on Army Patrol in J&K

At least three Army jawans were martyred and five others were injured after terrorists attacked an Army Patrol at Mullu Shopian of Jammu and Kashmir early on Thursday around 2 am.

However, the militants managed to escape taking advantage of the darkness.

The incident happened when the army patrol was returning after carrying out a search operation at Kungnoo, Shopian.

Reportedly, this is the fourth major attack on the army forces in Jammu and Kashmir in the past three weeks.

Hijbul Mujahidden, a Kashmiri separatist group has owned responsibility for the attack.
