39 Indians abducted by ISIS in Iraq in 2014, are Alive

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has confirmed that all 39 Indians who were abducted by the ISIS militants in Iraq more than a year ago, are still alive. The announcement was made following a meeting between Indian PM Narendra Modi and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in New York in the wee hours today.

According to President Abbas, all the captive Indians taken as prisoners are alive so far. Palestine is in constant touch with Indian authorities to help them secure the release of abducted Indians.
