4-year-old Girl brutally assaulted, raped in Delhi

In yet another shocking development, a man assaulted and raped a four-year-old girl in Delhi’s Keshavpuram, damaging her intestines and private parts. There were bruises and bites all over her body, which even shocked the doctors.

The girl needs a series of surgeries over the next six months to recover completely. The man has been identified. He will be arrested soon. The girl belongs to a very poor family. The child, who is out of danger, confirmed the rape and assault and said that the man had even tried to throttle her.

The girl was reportedly lured from outside her house with chowmein and Rs. 10 on Friday, her father claimed. Chairperson of Delhi Commission for Women (DCW), Swati Maliwal tweeted, “Visited the little girl, her condition cant be described. Horrific. Her parents are extremely poor. When will this heinous crime stop in Delhi?”
