Army Captain, 2 CRPF Jawans killed in Pampore Encounter

An Army Captain was killed on Sunday when security forces raided a multi-storeyed building near Pampore town in Kashmir to flush out hiding militants. Two CRPF jawans and a civilin were also killed in the gunfight.

At least 13 CRPF personnel have been injured in in the battle. Heavy firing exchanges are going on in the area and the Srinagar-Jammu highway has been closed for safety purposes.
