5 Killed in Gujarat Violence, Army deployed in Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar

As the death toll in Gujarat violence has now reached 5, Army has been deployed in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar to control the violent mob, who are involved in arson elsewhere. Around 60 paramilitary forces have already been deployed in many parts of Gujarat where violent incidents were reported since last night. Hardik Patel, who has gone indoors, has blamed the police for violence and threatened to intensify the stir.
