AAP MLA Surinder Singh arrested for beating up NDMC Employee

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA from Delhi Cantt., Surinder Singh has been arrested for beating up an on-duty New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) employee for clearing footpath areas illegally occupied by the hawkers. The incident had occurred on Tuesday evening at Tughlaq Road. The fourth-grade NDMC employee, Mukesh, had lodged a FIR against the MLA following the assault.
