—–   59 people killed and 57 people were injured in the incident. We will try that postmortem of the bodies are done as soon as possible. We have identified most of the bodies except 9: Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh.

—–   Amritsar Train Accident: There were vacant seats at Dhobi Ghat ground. Ravan was tied securely & there were no chances of it falling down & creating chaos. There was no stampede. Announcements were made 4-5 times asking people to come inside Dhobi Ghat ground: Navjot Kaur Sidhu.

—–   Delhi: Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe meets Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

—–   Mumbai: 5 Nigerian Nationals arrested by Anti-Narcotics Cell from P D’Mello Road in possession of 42 gram cocaine worth around Rs 2,10,000; 10 gram Mephedrone worth around Rs 20,000 & 4 gram MDMA worth around Rs 28,000. Case registered.
