Amazon removes offensive Indian Flag doormats from its Site

Amazon on Thursday removes offensive Indian-flag doormats from website in Canada after strong protest by India.

The External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj asked the Indian Embassy to take up the matter with Amazon Canada.

Sushma Swaraj on Wednesday asked the e-retailer to tender unconditional apology and withdraws all products insulting Indian national flag immediately.

“If this is not done forthwith, we will not grant Indian Visa to any Amazon official. We will also rescind the Visas issued earlier” the Minister also tweeted.
