Andhra Pradesh: 19 dead as Boat capsizes in River Krishna

Insight Bureau:  At least 19 people died while seven others are missing after a boat capsized in Krishna River in Krishna district’s Ibrahimpatnam mandal near Vijayawada on Sunday evening.

Reportedly, there were 38 people were on the boat, which belonged to a private tourism company and the boat did not have a licence to operate.

Rescue & search operation is underway by the National Disaster Response Force team,  State Disaster Relief Forces and fire service teams.
