Anti-BJP Scientist PM Bhargava to return Padma Bhushan

Scientist/Writer Dr. Pushpa Mittra Bhargava, who has decided to return his Padma Bhushan award (received in 1986) and claimed that India is fast becoming Pakistan, is known for anti-BJP stand.

During Vajpayee era in 2000, when the NDA government decided to ask Universities to introduce academic courses and offer science degrees in Astrology, Dr. Bhargava and many other scientists had launched a campaign against the government.

Bhargava even filed a PIL in the Supreme Court, which was dismissed. He is opposed to the Hindutva ideology and supports Communist ideology. He the founder of the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology in Hyderabad, India.

Needless to say, there are thousands of Writers, Academicians, Filmmakers and Scientists, who are opposed to BJP and Sangh’s ideology. So, it’s obvious for them to join hands and try to dethrone the government led by Narendra Modi. As it’s not possible politically till 2019, an intellectual revolution is being planned across the country.
