Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed his displeasure over the controversial remarks of some BJP leaders, which not only brought disrepute to the party, but also strengthened the opposition and lowered India’s image on the global arena. At the same time, such remarks divert attention from all the good work done by the government.
BJP President Amit Shah summoned Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar, Union Ministers Mahesh Sharma and Sanjeev Baliyan, Lok Sabha MP Sakshi Maharaj, UP MLA Sangeet Som etc. to apprise them of PM’s displeasure.
Shah reportedly cautioned Sangget Som and Sakshi Maharaj against making any such remarks that damage the party’s reputation. Others will also meet him in Delhi soon.
