BJP accuses Himachal CM Virbhadra Singh of Tax Evasion

After levelling allegations against Uttarakhand CM Harish Rawat over the ‘liquor scam’, the BJP has stepped up the offensive against the Congress further by coming up with fresh charges against Himachal Pradesh CM Virbhadra Singh.

The party accused Virbhadra of tax evasion and revealed that he used slush money to buy property. “Money was routed through front firms. The CM used unaccounted cash received through unsecured loans”, alleged the BJP backed by evidences produced by Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad at a press conference. He was flanked by BJP spokespersons MJ Akbar and Srikant Sharma.
