BJP names Prem Kumar Dhumal as Himachal Pradesh CM candidate

Insight Bureau: The Bharatiya Janata Party on Tuesday declared Prem Kumar Dhumal as its chief ministerial candidate for the upcoming Himachal Pradesh assembly elections.

Dhumal’s name was declared by the party President Amit Shah during his rally in Himachal Pradesh today. Two time chief minister, Dhumal will contest election from Sujanpur.

The elections will be held on 9 November and counting is set for 18 December.
