Bombay HC extends Teesta Setalvad’s Interim Bail by 2 Weeks

Hours after her interim bail plea was rejected by a Sessions Court in Mumbai, activist Teesta Setalvad got a major relief from the Bombay High Court, which extended her interim bail by two weeks. The CBI had registered a case against Setalvad and her NGO for alleged violation of Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) in receiving funds from abroad.
