CBI files FIR against Teesta Setalvad for receiving Illegal Funds

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered an FIR against civil rights activist Teesta Setalvad for allegedly receiving funds from foreign sources without prior permission from the government. The FIR also names Teesta’s husband Javed Anand, businessman Gulam Mohammed Peshimam and Sabrang Communications and Publishing.
