Congress distances itself from Controversial Remarks of Leaders

The Congress Party has distanced itself from the comments of Shashi Tharoor and Digvijaya, who opposed Yakub Memon’s hanging and questioned government and judiciary. Congress termed these comments as their personal opinion.

The BJP asked if the Congress cannot respond to these comments, then why and how it always asks PM Narendra Modi to explain for the comments made by Sakshi Maharaj and Sadhvi Prachi?
