Insight News Desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched a fierce attack on the Congress Party and former Defence/Finance Minister P Chidambaram, saying they have insulted the braves in Kashmir, who have made sacrifices to protect the borders.
At a rally in Ujire in Karnataka, Modi took on Chidambaram for batting for “autonomy” in J&K. “Now I know why Chidambaram had criticised the surgical strike. They have always compromised with the national security and insulted the martyrs. They should be ashamed of what they are doing”, he said.
“Congress is disconnected with the aspirations of our country. Why are Congress leaders lending their voice to those who want Azadi in Kashmir. This is an insult to our brave soldiers. I am convinced Congress won’t learn their lessons. They will have to pay a heavy price for it,” said PM Modi.
