Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury forced to apologise to Speaker

Congress MP from Berhampore (West Bengal), Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury was forced to apologise in Lok Sabha after the BJP moved a motion to suspend him from the House after Speaker Sumitra Mahajan complained that he had degraded the Chair during his protest. The Congress requested the Speaker not to punish Adhir. After Chowdhury apologised for his behaviour, the BJP MP withdrew his motion. The House was adjourned till tomorrow.
