Congress questions PM Modi’s meeting with Nawaz Sharif

The Congress Party questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s sudden meeting with Nawaz Sharif, saying there was not urgent need for the PM to do that. Congress spokesperson Meem Afzal asked why there was a suddent change of policy by the Modi Government even though it boasted about adopting tough stand vis-a-vis Pakistan.

He also talked about repeated ceasefire violations across the border and Pakistan’s double standard on 26/11 trial. He slammed Modi for greeting Nawaz during the meeting even though Pakistan has been threatening India on various issues.
