CPM to celebrate Sri Krishna Jayanthi in Kerala on September 5

In a desperate bid to prevent its cadres from migrating to the BJP, the CPM in Kerala has decided to celebrate Sri Krishna Jayanthi this year. The party had been against this tradition and procession, but had to bite the bullet this time because of RSS-BJP’s growing clout in the state. However, to save it from further embarrassment, the CPM has attributed the celebration to its children’s unit.
