Delhi HC dismisses Swamy’s PIL on Sunanda Pushkar

Insight News Desk: Delhi High Court dismissed the petition filed by BJP leader Subramanian Swamy seeking probe into the death of Sunanda Pushkar, saying he appeared to have concealed data or information which he should have disclosed.

The High Court termed it as a textbook example of “political interest litigation” being dressed up as PIL. Sunanda Pushkar, wife of Congress leader Shashi Tharoor, died under mysterious circumstances at Hotel Leela Palace in New Delhi on January 17, 2014.
