Ex Vice President of Louis Berger arrested by Goa Police

Satyakam Mohanty, Ex Vice President of Louis Berger, has been arrested by Goa Police in connection with the bribery scandal. Former Goa CM Digambar Kamat and then Public Works Department Minister Churchill Alemao, have been under the scanner after the confession made by Louis Berger management in a US Court that the company had paid bribe worth Rs 6 crore to a Goa Minister and some officials to secure JICA water supply and sewerage project in 2010. Congress was in power in Goa from 2007 to 2012. Both of them were quizzed by the Crime Branch last week.
