Fire breaks out on Varanasi-Delhi AI Flight, Passengers Evacuated

A major fire broke out on Varanasi-Delhi Air India flight during landing at the IGI Airport. The nose hill of the plane is on fire. It has been attributed to hydraulic leak. 100 passengers were onboard during the incident.

Some of them sustained injuries during the evacuation process. No passengers was injured due to fire. All passengers and crew of AI 405 were evacuated to safety. A major mishap has been averted. Further details are awaited.
