Five New Judges sworn in, taking Strength to 28 in Supreme Court

Supreme CourtThe Supreme Court of India today got five new judges as 5 new judges were took oath of office on Friday, taking the apex court’s strength to 28.

Justices Sanjay Kishan Kaul, Navin Sinha, Mohan M Shantanagoudar, Deepak Gupta and S Abdul Nazeer were administered the oath of office by Chief Justice of India J S Khehar today morning.

The constitution of India had sanctioned strength of Supreme Court is 31, including the Chief Justice.
