Flags of Pakistan and ISIS waved in Srinagar after Eid Prayers

Violent protests broke out in Srinagar and other parts of the Kashmir valley soon after the Eid prayers today. The youths resorted to stone pelting in Safa Kadal area of old city Srinagar. The CRPF and state police personnel lobbed tear gas shells and used baton charge to disperse them. Some masked youths waved the flags of Pakistan and ISIS in protest against separatist leader SAS Geelani and Muhammad Yasin Malik’s house arrest. Violent clashes were reported from Barzalla (Srinagar), Lal Chowk (Anantnag), Sogam (Kupwara) and many other places.
