Foreign Secretary S Jaishankar today arrived at Bangladesh on a two-day visit during which he will meet top Bangladeshi officials including Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and hold discussions on bilateral issues.
However, after finishing up his China tour, Jaishankar was supposed to hold talks with his Bangladesh counterpart Shahidul Haque. He will also meet Foreign Minister A H Mahmood Ali.
According to the news officials, the Indian foreign secretary would finalise a number of proposed agreements. They will also discuss the issues like storage of basin water for irrigation purpose and security cooperation.
