General VK Singh slams Media, clarifies “Dog” Remarks

Gen-VK-SinghMoS, MEA, General (Retd.) VK Singh, who is being targeted by the media after he coined a word ‘Presstitutes” for those, who always twist and distort the facts and act on an agenda, was yet again targeted by the TV channels today.

Gen. VK Singh’s statement and an example given on the current trend in the country when the reporters sought to put the Centre in the dock over Dalit children’s killing in Haryana. VK Singh said, “even if a dog is stoned today, government is being blamed. This should stop”. But, media and opposition parties co-related it and projected as if VK Singh has compared Dalits to dogs.

VK Singh’s Statements:

“My statement wasn’t intended to draw an analogy. My men & I put our lives on the line for the nation irrespective of caste, creed & religion”.

“I standby to serve India with the same spirit, right now and always. Our nation, its success and its people motivate me daily”.

“As citizens of this great nation, we are sensitive, but also responsible. Agenda of India is bigger than any single neighborhood or individual”.

“The dastardly and cowardly act that led to killing of two innocent children in Haryana is a shocking reflection of our society. It does not matter who or what political affiliations are, perpetrators have to be dealt with without mercy”.

“Appeal media to not deliberately twist my words out of context,what I have said & continue to say is clear and unambiguous”.

“We must stand united and let no one exploit our diversity by blowing up localized issues. Jai hind!”
